How to delete your account from Cash App

Before you proceed, ensure you have transferred any remaining balance to your bank account or another Cash App user. Also, download any transaction history you may need for your records.

Steps to delete your account

1. Open Cash App: Launch the Cash App on your mobile device and log in to your account.

2. Transfer Remaining Balance: Ensure your account balance is zero by transferring any remaining funds to your bank account or another Cash App user.

3. Download Transaction History: If you need a record of your transactions, download your transaction history from the app.

4. Access Account Settings:

   • Tap on the profile icon on your Cash App home screen.
   • Scroll down and select "Support."

5. Navigate to Account Settings:

   • In the Support section, type "Delete account" in the search bar.
   • Select the option that appears for "Delete Your Personal Information."

6. Confirm Deletion:

   • Follow the prompts to confirm that you want to delete your account.
   • You may be asked to verify your identity by entering a code sent to your email or phone number.

7. Uninstall the App: Once your account is deleted, you can uninstall the Cash App from your device.
