How to delete your account from CodeIgniter Forums

Before proceeding, ensure you are logged into your CodeIgniter Forums account.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your account:

   • Visit forum.codeigniter.com and log in using your credentials.

2. Navigate to User Control Panel:

   • Click on your username at the top right corner of the page.
   • From the dropdown menu, select "User Control Panel."

3. Access Account Settings:

   • In the User Control Panel, go to the "Profile" tab.
   • Click on "Edit Account Settings."

4. Request Account Deletion:

   • Unfortunately, there is no direct option to delete your account from the user interface.
   • You will need to contact the forum administrators to request account deletion.

5. Contact Forum Administrators:

   • Go to the "Contact Us" page, usually found at the bottom of the forum website.
   • Alternatively, you can send an email to the forum administrators at [email protected].
   • In your message, include your username, the email address associated with your account, and a request to delete your account.

• Account deletion requests may take some time to process, depending on the forum administrators' response time.
• Ensure you have backed up any important information or posts you may need before requesting account deletion, as this process is irreversible.
