How to delete your account from VK (vk.com)

General Prerequisites

• Ensure you are logged into your VK account.
• Make sure you have access to the email address associated with your VK account.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your VK account:

   • Open your web browser and go to vk.com.
   • Enter your login credentials (email/phone number and password) and click "Log in."

2. Navigate to Settings:

   • Once logged in, click on your profile picture or name in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.
   • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

3. Access Account Deletion:

   • In the Settings menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
   • Look for the "You can delete your account here" link and click on it.

4. Confirm Deletion:

   • You will be redirected to a page explaining the consequences of deleting your account.
   • Optionally, you can provide a reason for leaving.
   • Click the "Delete account" button to proceed.

5. Final Confirmation:

   • A confirmation message will appear. Click "Yes" to confirm the deletion of your account.

Notes

• Once you delete your account, it will be deactivated for 210 days. During this period, you can restore your account by logging in with your credentials.
• After 210 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
